“One of them” and “One of a kind”

In my opinion, academic background (school, educational background) is very important. (In Korea) The only place that doesn’t look at academic backgrounds is the computer security that I’m studying. Developers, security-related or computer-related workers, skill is more important than I thought. I don’t think grades are that important. Nevertheless, I see many people frustrated and unable to take on the challenge because of their academic background.

I’m going to write my personal thoughts today. I personally go to conferences and attend academic conferences and competitions, and I get to know a lot of things. What I felt while going to these places is that there are people with good academic backgrounds and some people with bad academic backgrounds. But these people have something in common. Most people put in a lot of effort and invest a lot of time in the areas they want to study. And they don’t have to describe themselves as a school of origin.

Also, if you talk about your school with people who don’t need an explanation, most of them have articles or blogs that you can know about in the same field. Oh, is that your blog? I’m looking good. Is that your thesis? It was interesting, and I can tell a story. So, most of them are able to explain their skills themselves as one of a kind, not the school they came from.

On the other hand, some people put themselves in a group and judge themselves as one of them a lot. Don’t limit yourself because you’re too proud or discouraged, I think you should just try. While I see a lot of unheard of college graduates who produce great thesis or research results on their own, I often see top school undergraduates failing to graduate or dropping out because they don’t. And there are people who can’t find a job. People who are one of a kind are much more luminous than the One of them from their school

The bottom line is that no matter which way one goes, the possibility of becoming one of a kind is infinite. The road that seemed so far now came to be seen that it was only a single sheet of paper, and that there were more people than expected who found the way even in unfavorable conditions. Do not limit yourself with pride, discouragement, or anger, and do your best under the circumstances. It’s not always the best choice to do your best, but I think it could be a better choice than one of them, and this is a part that can be heard enough if you say a few words.

And, in my opinion, the more talented people are, the more interested they are in the impact they can make. In other words, they are much more interested in ripple power and influence. In other words, great people are better than belonging to one place. You seem to be very interested in what kind of problem you want to solve. That is, it becomes one of a kind.
